Love Your Melon gave $120,000 to Children’s Cancer Research Fund because we agree that investing in cutting-edge research will make a difference in the lives of children battling cancer. We provided $120,000 to expand clinical trials, meaning more treatments to make their way from the lab to children who may not have other options. The gift to Lurie Children’s doctors Rishi Lulla and Amanda Saratsis and their team allowed them to pursue a clinical trial to find new treatment options for DIPG, the most deadly pediatric brain tumor.
